When you use your card in a Digital Wallet, our Account & Access Facility Conditions of Use apply to each transaction.
Protecting Your Information
You are responsible for protecting your User ID, phone lock, passcode, passwords, and any other details used to authorise Digital Wallet payments.
- Use a secure, non-obvious passcode or unlock pattern
- Do not write down or store your passcode on your device or computer
- Never share your passcode or security credentials with anyone
Always take care when using your Digital Wallet. Try to memorise your passcode or ensure it is well disguised if recorded.
Report Issues Immediately
To protect your account and minimise liability, notify us as soon as possible if:
- Your device is lost or stolen
- You believe your security credentials have been compromised
- You notice a transaction error
- You suspect fraud involving your Digital Wallet
Delays in reporting may result in liability for unauthorised transactions under our Conditions of Use.
About the Digital Wallet Provider
The Digital Wallet provider (e.g. Google) is responsible for the performance and availability of the wallet service. While we facilitate card setup and verification, we do not control or guarantee the Digital Wallet’s functionality.
Privacy Notice
When you add your card to a Digital Wallet, your personal information is shared between:
- You and the Digital Wallet provider
- Transport Mutual Credit Union and the Digital Wallet provider
This is necessary for activation, security verification and transaction processing.
