Sending money overseas using Internet Banking
We offer transfers in over 140 currencies, competitive exchange rates and the right expertise to make sure you’re doing things right.
You can transfer foreign currency up to $2,000 AUD per day via our Internet Banking platform.
For detailed instructions on how to send foreign currency via Internet Banking, follow these steps:
- Log Into Internet Banking.
- Select the Pay menu item.
- Select International Transfer.
- Fill out all of the required recipient transfer information.
- Click Next and confirm all of the transfer information is correct.
- Click Submit and your transfer has been successfully initiated.
What you'll need to send money overseas
To initiate an international transfer, please provide:
- Beneficiary's full name and street address (PO boxes are not accepted).
- Beneficiary's bank account details, including IBAN if applicable.^
- Beneficiary bank's SWIFT/BIC code or routing number.
- Purpose of the payment.
